Food is part of human culture, a medium of enjoyment and communication. The representation of food has always been one of the most important motifs in art. In all epochs they were creatively arranged according to the respective trend. The artworks hide allusions of an erotic or religious nature, show enthusiasm for exotic fruits or contain criticism of the social value of food.
